(Shenandoah) -- The 2014 swimming season is over. Now, Shenandoah's outdoor swimming pool is going to the dogs. Lame pun aside, The Wilson Aquatic Center's dog swim event takes place Monday evening. Shenandoah Park and Recreation Director Mike Laughlin “Dogs Gone Swimming” is this Saturday. The event is a fundraiser for the city’s Animal Care & Adoption Center. Dogs get to swim in the pool before its drained for the fall season. If you want your dog to take part, click here for more info. Most include games, music and vendors along with the swimming. Pooches must be spayed or neutered. Bring proof of vaccinations and city registration.
